Frequently asked questions.
What is NetYield?
NetYield is a bandwidth-sharing network where eligible providers can run a client and receive usage-based earnings for approved traffic forwarded through their internet connection.
How are earnings calculated?
Earnings are based on verified billable bytes and your assigned rate for the endpoint class. Rates may differ between residential, mobile and hosting/datacenter connections.
Does being online guarantee earnings?
No. Traffic depends on customer demand, location, network quality and other selection criteria.
What information is collected about my IP?
The network may store IP address, approximate network/geographic metadata, ASN/ISP, endpoint classification, connection state and accounting information needed to operate the service.
Can I stop sharing?
Yes. You can stop the client or disable/remove your device. New traffic will cease after network state propagation.
How does device authentication work?
New devices use a one-time enrollment token. The client creates a local cryptographic identity and authenticates its sessions to NetYield infrastructure.
What traffic is prohibited?
Abusive, unlawful, harmful and policy-restricted activity is prohibited. See the Acceptable Use Policy for details.
When can I request a payout?
NetYield payouts are requested in USDT on the Solana network. Save a valid Solana wallet in Settings first; the dashboard validates its public-key format before allowing a request. Minimums and review requirements may vary by account and jurisdiction.
